How to Sell your Home Fast
Here are some great ideas and tips to sell your home fast in a buyers market.
(1) Make sure the house is extra clean and spotless. Clean the carpet. Wax the floors. Have clean and fresh looking towels. Dust all the furniture. Clean all of the appliances including cleaning out the refrigerator. Remove all of the cobwebs. Clean and polish all chrome faucets and handles (bathroom, kitchen etc). Wash all the windows inside and out. Use air fresheners and room deodorizers to deodorize the house.
(2) Organize closets and cabinets. What if for example a buyer looks inside a closet or kitchen cabinet and notices everything is laying all over the place and looks like a cyclone hit it! This might give the impression that house has NOT been maintained by the seller over the years. So not only do you want to make sure that the closets and cabinets are well organized, but also make sure that everything inside the house is neatly organized.
(3) Make sure home has curb appeal. It’s essential that you keep the your yard well maintained. Mow the lawn. Trim the bushes. Have a professional landscaper landscape your home. Paint the trim around the house.
(4) Make some minor repairs. Put on a fresh coat of paint (bright colors). Repair cracks and or holes in the walls. Lubricate squeaky doors, cabinets. Fix any type of plumbing or electrical issues you may be experiencing.
(5) Remove any excess furniture. You want to make the house look as roomy and spacious as possible.
